A piece of the story.

Urban Surreality was an intricate scroll piece, spanning 55 cm wide and unravelling to 7m in length. Exhibited in Loughborough University, the piece tells the story of the architectural environment that goes unnoticed by students, despite surrounding them. By merging multiple images and adding another dimension of life through texture, the mundane built environment becomes a new and worthy utopia.

The work was part of the series of works titled ‘Non-place’ that won the Edward Sharp Prize for outstanding artwork.

Framed original (122cm x 71cm)
